CARE
CARE INSTRUCTION FOR MOTORCYCLE CLOTHING
The service life of any garment also depends on proper care.
Therefore, please always observe the sewn-in care label. Even after repeated washing, the function of the membrane remains intact. Before washing motorcycle clothing, always remove the crash pads/protectors.
FOR LEATHER AND TEXTILE BOTH
WASHING
Be sure to read the sewn-in care label! Unless specified otherwise, choose hand washing (with pH-neutral soap and lukewarm water). NO machine wash! First remove heavy dirt from the leather areas with a damp cloth or a soft brush. To avoid detergent residues on the membrane material, rinse with sufficient clear water (repeat the rinsing procedure).
Do not use fabric softener!!!
IRONING
Do not iron motorcycle leather clothing.
TUMBLE DRYER
Do not tumble dry. Allow to dry at room temperature. Do not dry in the sun!
BLEACHING
Do not use chlorine bleach.
DRY CLEANING
Do not dry clean.
FOR TEXTILE WITHOUT LEATHER
WASHING
Be sure to read the sewn-in care label! Unless specified otherwise, wash in the washing machine with a detergent suitable for membrane clothing using the delicates program at 30 °C (do not spin dry).
Pre-treat heavy dirt with washing booster and stains with a commercially available stain remover.
To avoid detergent residues on the membrane material, rinse with sufficient clear water (repeat the rinsing procedure).
Do not use fabric softener!!!
IRONING
You can re-activate the water-repellent impregnation effect by ironing (without steam) according to the care label or in the tumble dryer at low temperature.
TUMBLE DRYER
Dry with a low drum filling at a low temperature.
BLEACHING
Do not use chlorine bleach.
DRY CLEANING
Unless stated otherwise on the care label, dry cleaning is possible. However, washing in the washing machine is preferable.
